Alanah walked quickly and quietly out of her office taking care to remind the statue of the password. Then she smiled and walked to the entrance hall where she was going to meet some new students that were coming in to the school.
She loved meeting new students and liked showing them around the massive school and helping them if they got lost. She wasn’t very strict and loved to tease annoying or nasty students, but she would never hurt a student!
Alanah was always happy to help and that was why she was going to the entrance hall, to make sure that all the students were ok. She loved her job and if the ministry of magic said she couldn’t be minister of magic if she was headmistress of golden sunset, she would quit the ministry to keep her work!
Most people in the magic world knew her, especially people who collected chocolate frogs! She was on a chocolate frog card because she was so famous in the magic world! Not quite as famous as Harry potter who went to Hogwarts, “the boy who lived” as some called him.
Alanah sometimes wished she could meet Harry potter, but she knew she would never meet him, well there was a small possibility that she would, if he ever went to the ministry, but she had only just become minister, she had taken over from Cornelius fudge!
Alanah admired fudge but she didn’t really like some of then things he did, like when serious black had escaped from Azkaban and he made the dememtors guard every magic school’s gates (Hogwarts, bauxbattons, drumstag and golden sunset). That put thousands of students and teachers in danger! She totally disagreed with that!
Alanah had decided after that stupid idea that fudge was stupid and relied on other people to help him and give him ideas and advice, then doesn’t take it! Alanah was the type that rarely asked for advice, and when she did she usually took it, unless it was advice that would put people in danger!
Alanah was happy when fudge stopped being the minister, and she was even happier when she was picked to be the next minister. Now she never stopped smiling, but she had always been like that, she thought it must be the fairy blood she had. Her mother was a fairy, and so that makes her half fairy!
And though she didn’t know it, she was actually quite beautiful, and so she looked a bit like a fairy, but she was taller than the average fairy that was because of her farther, her farther was a human, he was a tall and kind man who, like Alanah, loved to help people.
Alanah always helped anyone who asked and never expected anything back! Most people are not kind enough, she is too kind! That is her only fault, if anyone asks her to do something, if she can she will!
A light breeze was blowing Alanah’s hair in her face. Her short hair flowed into her eyes, she really looked beautiful! She smiled again as she reached the entrance hall, then she opened the door. Her bright eyes shone happily in the light
